Packed up the kiddie cats this week and headed straight for the coast, spent time in Monterey, Pebble Beach, Half Moon Bay and ended our tour in style, San Francisco. Nothing makes me happier than being by the water and the coastline in Northern California is simply stunning. What an adventure.
I'm really into fun sunglasses right now, such a great play accessory and nothing is cuter on a little kiddie-cat than a pair of fly shades. The thicker, brighter and funkier the better. Love these from Valley Eyewear.
I love adding this retro pin-up style headband with vintage necklace and pirate leggings...who knew that would work? But it does and I love it.
I designed this tutu based from a piece that I purchased for my daughter last year in bright yellow, because it was such an everyday tutu it became a serious go-to for us and I wanted to re-create something similar...but of course with a little flair. This particular flapper style piece was purchased from a woman that hand crafts them using her mothers old stage gowns. The original owner of the gown is now in her seventies, seeing this piece repurposed in such a way just makes my heart smile. I think that this might be a new shop favorite.
The rain has lifted and it couldn't have been better timing, literally the kids got up from their nap with just as sun came out and I was just finishing this easy breezy top for Eva. Time to get outside to play! Everything is back to normal is Sunny California.
This is my first sample of this piece, I think I like it. Should be up on the website for purchase soon, pairs perfectly with the Lucky Leo Leggings.
